Sometimes not always Outlook is twice on the taskbar.

One is the program itself and the other one displays a dialog window telling me "this program is not responding" if you close this one outlook will terminate and has to restarted.

PowerFuse 2008 SR7 (8.0.7.3)
Windows Server 2003 ENT
Citrix 4.0

Hello Peter,

Are you using the Windows Shell or the RES PowerFuse Shell?
Do you experience this problem in your entire environment?
Since when does this occur?
Are you using addins and/or plugins for Outlook?

Hi,

One of the first things to determine which such an issue, is if it's really RES PowerFuse related. Often the issue is already there in a Citrix user session without RES PowerFuse.

Some easy steps to take here:
  • Test with a Citrix published desktop without RES PowerFuse. If the problem is still there it's not RES PowerFuse related and the search starts for troubleshooting outside that scope
  • Test with a RDP user session (with and without RES PowerFuse). This excludes a Citrix issue
