When i export a BB from PowerLaunch\Directory Maintenance\Home Directory\Settings an xml is created for the settings and an xbb file is created (I asume for the referenced directory/file). I delete the settings and the directory/file. After importing only the Settings are restored.
How come?
Does anyone know the format of the xbb file?

Thx Huh

Inside the .xbb file there are resources used in the .xml file.
You can test this:
*) Create a BuildingBlock which had a resource (.xbb).
*) Remove the settings from your RES PowerFuse Management Console, including the resource.
*) Import the BuildingBlock...

Does that go alright?

P.S. Which version of RES PowerFuse are you using?

As i discribed I did all the steps

1. When i export a BB from PowerLaunch\Directory Maintenance\Home Directory\Settings an xml is created for the settings and an xbb file is created (I asume for the referenced directory/file).
2. I delete the settings and the directory/file.
3. After importing only the Settings are restored.

Using PF 8.0.7.3 SR7

Known problem (incl solution) in the RES Software Knowledge Base: http://support.ressoftware.com/Modules/Support/KnowledgeBaseArticle.aspx?id=2313

@Moderators: Relocation of this issue outside the RES PowerFuse BuildingBlocks topic? ;-)
