PF 2010 DB
«

Hi all
I use PF2010 and I saw that by using MS Azure as DB I'm able to administrate PF clients through the MS Cloud. So will it replace my local installation in the Company? And what if I have an existing installation in my company? Do I have to replicate.. What is the best practice ?
...and would it be possible to setup clients out of the company network and I get my Workspace through the Azure DB without VPN?
Thanks
Tom

You can replicate of you so desire, but that is a database/sql releated question.
As far as RES PowerFuse is concerned, it's a database... that's it. Yes, it is possible to only use the Azure database as your RES PowerFuse database; RES PowerFuse will not care where the database is located as long as it can contact it.
When the database is unavailable, the client will use the local dbcache instead... but then no changes you have made in the RES PowerFuse Management Console will be applied... but that's the same in RES PowerFuse 2008...
