We've been using powerfuse for 6 years. Our current environment gets a nice fresh upgrade to powerfuse 2010 and xenapp 5.
Currently we are in the final testing fase and there is one thing all the admins here are complaining about. They all say "We can do 95% percent of our daily support using the powerfuse management console. Shadowing users, locating users problems. Optimize programs en variables. But we still have to switch to the slow citrix management suite to close user applications if they hang".
So I was wandering is this something to add to the powerfuse management console.

Hi,
You can close down user sessions on a Citrix server, but not a single application on a specific server. Is that what you meant?

I know I can Kill the whole session of the user. But it want to kill just one process or application. So we don't have to switch to the citrix delivety console.
It's more the tought one shoe fits all. So One management tool does it all. I hate having multiple tools for just one cause.

I completely agree. This would be a great feature to have, which could save admins alot of time having to go to the ctx/ts consoles just to kill processes.
Have you already submitted the feature request to RES in an official capacity? If not, I'll be happy to bring it in.
Thanks,'

Do you know why the apps are hanging? That would be the first problem to solve.
Can the user close the application via the memoryshield icon in the systemtray?

Well, why a specific app may hang is anybody's guess. However, yes - the user can close apps through the memoryshield dialog box.

I've seen it happen that applications freeze up te entire workspace so the end user can try the use memory shield but nothing happens until an admin closes the process using the citrix delivery console.
I haven't submitted the request to res in an offical way. Also i've got no clue to how to do it.
