Hallo,

When were refreshing our workspace sessions, it takes about 80 seconds to refresh the 1400 users.
We excluded the SQL files in our virusscanner.
We are using Citrix 4.5 with Powerfuse 2008 sr4.

Please tell me the time and users on your systems.

Hi there,
While I don't want to sound like a broken record regarding 2010 upgrading, I really think you should consider it, as there has been made masive performance improvements since PF2008.

If the problem persists, you may want to switch on tracing and see if that help. Have a look here http://blog.ressoftware.com/index.php/2010/05/14/res-powerfuse-tracing/

Let me get this straight,

Are you selecting all 1400 active users in your Console and send a Refresh Start Menu command to them? Because then 80 seconds is quite impressive for everything to cool down again.
