I am working in a school - I have one xendesktop image and I am using RES.
i need to be able to turn that one image to a restricted image for a particular day with locked down features....For example On Tuesday users will take an exam - the desktop image should only have wordpad on it - no word 2003 as it has spell checker.

Is there a way I can easily change my image with many apps on it to a restricted image for exam users....does anyone know a registry setting to disable word 2003 spell checker? Any help will be useful. I am using Powerfuse 2010 .

you could configure workspaces, add the needed applications to that specific workspace and it should work?

For you spell checker, i used this solution a long time ago:

Office 2003:
simply rename the mssp3en.lex on logon and named it back on logoff.
