I was wondering if this is something for a f request or something which is possible already in RES Wisdom.

Goal: Start modules/projects/run books based on a parameter/mac address etc when a new agent is added.

Let's say you use WDS to PXE boot and install your OS.
Within you XML files (from WDS) you install the RES Wisdom Agent.
With the agent unattended installation you add the option to add this new agent to a team or you can use INVOKEPROJECT to start a project which can be used both i guess.

I'm looking for an option to have something in between the agent install and the auto start of the modules/projects/run books, which could be a module.

Within this module you can choose which, modules/projects/run books based on a (example) mac address, you want to start (a bit like adding a computer to the domain with inputlist).

With this option you can achieve to have a OS install which is completely transparent and within RES Wisdom you are able to choose what kind of server this will become.

Any comments are welcome

I managed to answer my own question and have a working solution at the moment.
The solution includes starting a Run book after agent installation (which is not possible during the agent install itself).
Choice of which type of server it will become is triggered based on MAC address.

During the creation of above i went wild and created also a solution for a reinstallation of a server which is triggered within Wisdom, and yes this also includes a fresh OS installation. This solution works at the moment for VMWare en Xenserver machines.
