Is there a way to force users to exit an application before logof?
I can't find it. I have a problem with profiles on the terminal server.
Or mabey to set a time-out of 2 seconds before logging off?

William,

Welcome! What is the underlying problem? It sounds like the user session is not logging off correctly and some process is stopping the session from closing. Is this the case?

Thanks, Iain

Hi,

Iain is correct, are there any processes running preventing a gracefull logoff?
You can use Taskmanager to close them one by one until the session logs off correctly.
Then this process can be excluded with a registry key. But first do the check, and let us know.

Not sure if this is related but anyway i will share it.

If you use Windows 2008 R2 then this is a Microsoft problem.
We have also this problem, Microsoft is creating a public patch/fix for this atm.
Planned release is Oct 15 2010.

Description for the patch is

"Once a day, one of your Windows 2008 R2 English Terminal Server with Citrix XenApp denies new RDP connections. Existing RDP connections are working fine. You have to reboot the server"

and

'Win32k can tear down a user session before it is completly initialize causing some session drivers to not be notified of the session termination causing dangling resource/session hang"

It will be availible as KB2383928
