I just downloaded the free express version.
The situation here is that I have one SBS 2008 SBS server with locally connected clients and one 2008 Terminal Server.
I want to use this software only on the terminal server so I can easily set policies and make the Terminal server more secure.

Queestion 1: Where do I install this software? On the SBS server or on the Terminal server?

Question 2: For now I've installed it on the SBS server, but I can't find any option to activate the software for certain users or groups or enable it for the Terminal server only... I also couldn't find the default Windows policies. For example, those who deny printer creation, deny access to the local drives etc.

Thank you for your help,
Dennis

You install it on the terminal server, where it will execute for each user YOU configure it to using the editing of user properties or by applying group policies for the appropriate users under the circumstances you desire. It will then act as a shell replacement, setting, allowing and/or restricting all you've configured in the Management Console.

Hi,

Here's a Knowledge Base article that gives you a guideline on how to do it.

Good luck.
