Hi,

I'm trying to get the following to work:

When a user logs on in one of our offices (office 1) he should only see the printers available in that office. If that user goes to another office (office 2) he should only see the printers from office 2 and no longer the ones from office 1.

We have powerzones for each office, based on the TS-client IP (for example 172.16.250.*).
I know how to add a printer for a specific powerzone using the management console.

This works if I configure Powerfuse to remove all network printers at logon (or logoff), but the problem is that users will lose their Printing Preferences if we do this.

We have Canon multifunctionals that keep their settings in the registry (settings like preferred drawer, double-sded printing or printing to a mailbox instead of direct printing).
When a printer is removed from PowerPrint (manually or automatically by using the setting mentioned before) the registry key for that printer is removed from the userprofile and the printing preferences are lost.
The next time a printer is added (manually or automatically based on powerzone) it will revert to the default settings.

Is there a trick to accomplish this while keeping the users' Printing Preferences?

Thanks in advance!

Regards,
Jeroen

What version of powerfuse are you using?

On the 2010 i've build a additional user preference to save the additional settings made by the universal ricoh driver
