Currently we use powerfuse 2010 sr4. With mandatory profiles and zero profiling.
Works like a charm.

Sometime we experience that user preferences are not saved or not saved correctly. Mostly it's outlook. To work arround this problem we've made a redesign for our user preferences.

We've excluded the Nk2 file from the outlook preferences (the thing that users complain about when it's missing)and also the auto complete lists from Internet explorer including passwords and usernames are expluded from their current preferences.
We've made a new set of preferences and named it Profile Preferences.

So now users can reset their applications without losing auto completion files.

How do you keep track of these settings and is this the correct way to handle?

Hi WhoCarez,

Sounds like a good setup - I'll implement that and see how it goes!

What are you trying to track in particular and why? Do you have a specific requirement?

Thanks, Iain
