Thank Max,

But that's not a solution. It's more to shutdown the fatclient when an user initiates a logoff.

In the subscriber it's possible to shut down the fatclient when the Citrix session ends. I want the same behavior but then in a local powerfuse session (so no subscriber active).

hi,

We having problems retaining explorer view settings.

We tried everything from making user pref:

Registry Tree: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\ShellNoRoam
Registry Value: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Streams

To user pref all current user registry.
Nothing works.

We want to save the explorer view like column width, view etc

Does anybody knows a solution?

We use mandatory profiles

grtz

If you want to disable UAC, this can be done easy via the registry and no change in RES Wisdom is needed for it.

Disable UAC with Registry Editor (RegEdit)

Run Registry Editor (RegEdit).
Navigate to the following registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System

Locate the following REG_DWORD value:
EnableLUA

Set the value of EnableLUA to 0.

Optional step to suppress UAC consent prompt dialog, locate the following REG_DWORD value:
ConsentPromptBehaviorAdmin

Set the value of ConsentPromptBehaviorAdmin to 0 (optional).

Sometimes you want to work offline (at least we do) with the agent information (in Excel for example).

In this case, especially for large environments, it is easier to determinate out of date / Offline agent so you can do a little cleanup.

Attached 2 building blocks for each product.
You need to setup a SQL Connector within RES Wisdom before you can use these modules.
Don't forget to change your SQL Server name, database name, user name and password.

The output can be found on the Output Log Tab.

With RES Wisdom you can create folders etc. to create a readable structure for all your Resources, Modules, Projects and Run Books.

Of course you can do a find for what you need but some of us like to have also a decent folder structure which can be exactly identical when you manager multiple RES Wisdom environments or you need to import/export BB.

Attached 2 buildingblocks and a screenshot of the default structure we use.
Maybe it has an added value to your environment so i wanted to share it.
If you have any comments and added value let me know.

1. Import Run Book BB
2. Import Resources BB
(the next steps are optional)
3. Create SQL Connector within RES Wisdom
4. Change SQL connection details in module START DELETE ALL DUMMIES
5. Run Module START DELETE ALL DUMMIES to delete all dummy resources, modules, projects and run books

CAUTION!!! if you want to use this module do this right after importing the template else you will also loose all resources, modules, projects and run books with the name dummy you created  Wink

For a module naming convention we use the same number as the folder name.
So all modules in folder 1- System Applications will start with 1-
So all modules in folder 2- User Applications will start with 2-

This can make is easier to identify what kind of module your dealing with, within a project.

Have fun with it :-)
